Sock Hop for Knitters

Remember the 'sock hop' when we were young? This sock hop is for knitters ~ we will knit socks, chat, eat and knit more socks. This event will happen this coming fall ~ write to us for information or to put your name on the list. Gather together your knitable (ha) girl friends, sisters or even co-workers and get some cozy socks made for this winter. OR a new Christmas stocking to hang on your bedpost this Christmas. It's summertime in Iowa and all the beautiful flowers are in full bloom. Our flowers were so pretty until the terrible heat came (last week) ~ but they are still blooming and reminding us to stop and smell the flowers. Our feeding area for birds, squirrels, rabbits and even deer. Sit on our wrap-around front porch and watch and listen to the birds at the feeders.
